![]() ![]() Her most recent picture book is The Terrible Plop, illustrated by Andrew Joyner, which since its publication in March 2009, has been made into a very successful play and been published in both the UK and USA. She has recently earned a PhD in English literature at Macquarie University. In 2007 The Red Shoe won the Queensland Premiers Award, the NSW State Literary Award -Young Adult, and was an Honour Book in the CBC Book of the Year Award: Older Readers.
